To give every student the best chance of success in their OxfordAQA exams, we have developed new Core qualifications for our International GCSEs in English as a Second Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, alongside the existing Core Mathematics specification.
These new specifications are designed to be taken for a year of study, in preparation for the full International GCSE qualification. Each qualification consists of selected content from the full course, chosen to be both accessible for younger students and an excellent knowledge foundation for seamless progression to GCSE-level study.

We know that many schools would like to use mock papers linked to these specifications to run end-of-year assessments for their younger students, as it will give a good sense of readiness before they progress to studying for their full International GCSEs.
To support schools who would like to do this in May or June, we have developed a support package with everything you need to run and mark your end-of-year assessments. As part of this, we will provide dedicated mock exam papers that can be used for these assessments, alongside guidance on marking them. You will also get access to live webinar training that will outline the specification and give targeted support for running and marking your assessments. Your local OxfordAQA representative will also be in touch to make sure you have everything you need.
This complementary package is available to all schools, regardless of whether or not you are an OxfordAQA centre.
