We will discuss our own role as leaders and strategise how we can foster an environment that allows new leaders to flourish in our schools. Join Dr Louise Aukland (researcher and project lead at Oxford University) as she takes us ‘back to basics’ with the human brain and explores how we can harness the neuroplasticity of the teenage brain to improve wellbeing in our schools and classrooms. We’ll look at common stress triggers in teenagers and reflect on small changes that we, as teachers and leaders, can make to reduce these and make our schools and classrooms happier places.
