Making it click: digital assessment

In this digital world we all use technology to work, live, learn and play. Soon, assessment will start to catch up.

This week, our partners at AQA announced a significant step in moving to digital exams in England.

OxfordAQA is very much a part of these plans, and we are excited to be at the forefront of digital development in the assessment world.

We believe digital and on-screen technologies have tremendous potential to improve our assessment practices for the benefit of learners and schools around the world.

While the benefits of digital assessment are clear, we are very conscious that changes to exams cannot, and will not, happen overnight. All steps towards digital assessment will be small at first, over a period of years, and will grow in time.

We will of course work closely with OxfordAQA schools throughout this time to fully understand their needs and to ensure they are fully supported. You can read more about AQA’s plans for these early steps, with which we are closely aligned, in this guide to digital exams.
